You need a building permit if you seek to change the use of a property, plan and build, outline or demolish a building or renew or retain a structure. You will also require an environmental permit. JDAP allows you to apply for both in a convenient and transparent process.

Please note that you are still required to submit four hard copies of your building plans.

Development Approval Review Process connected in one place...

The development approval process is a consultative one among several entities for the approval of building and environmental permit applications. Building applications start at the Local Planning Authority/Municipal Corporations and involves the National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) while applications relating to environment are assessed at the NEPA. Several other agencies are required to comment on the various types of application and are included in the process as commenting agencies.

JDAP has all the key decision makers in the development application review process – the local authorities and the relevant agencies – in a workflow so that all entities can view the application simultaneously, comment and approve or refuse the application.
